This roadmap helps you find out the key dates and stages in the first six years of your child’s education pathway. Input your child’s current age now to plan his/her golden period of development ahead!

INFANT & TODDLER PROGRAMME

Children are not yet eligible to attend nursery or kindergarten programmes in the academic year 2025/26.

Parents are welcome to register their children in Infant and Toddler Programmes at VEO Upper Kornhill Campus – to prepare them for kindergarten!

Children will be eligible to apply for both the Nursery (K1) Programme and Pre-Nursery (PN) Programme at any VEO nursery or kindergarten in the academic year 2026/27.

WELCOME TO CLASS OF K1

Children attend Nursery Class (K1) at VEO campuses in the academic year 2025/26.

They can experience an inquiry-based learning; acquire trilingual and biliteracy skills; build relationships and social skills; develop confidence; cultivate self-management skills; and develop gross and fine motor skills.

SEPTEMBER 2027

ATTENDING K2

Children attend Lower Class (K2) at VEO campuses in the academic year 2027/28.

They can engage in further learning and acquire Chinese (Cantonese/Putonghua) and English literacy, math concepts and other skills. They will have more Home learning materials assigned to them to deepen their learning and understanding.

SEPTEMBER 2028

ATTENDING K3

Children starts attending the Upper Class (K3) at VEO campus in the academic year 2028/29.

They will be engaged in deeper learning and acquisition of trilingual and math skills. They will begin to prepare for primary school interviews and transition.

A majority of VEO Graduates continue their academic journey at Victoria Shanghai Academy (VSA), leading prestigious local primary schools and leading international schools.

Children attend Pre-Nursery Class (PN) at VEO campuses in the academic year 2026/27.

In the academic year 2025/26, children under 2 are eligible to attend our Pre-Nursery (PN) Programme at the following five VEO campuses:

If children are studying in our Pre-Nursery (PN) Programme in the academic year 2025/26, they will automatically transit to VEO’s Nursery (K1) Programme at the same campus in the academic year 2026/27.
