To prepare our K2 Lower Class for primary school interviews, we focus on cultivating essential competencies through structured activities. Our classroom routines emphasize proper posture, focused listening, and raising hands to speak, helping children develop foundational etiquette and self-discipline.
We use progressive puzzle exercises that range from simple to complex patterns to enhance spatial reasoning and patience, building resilience in problem-solving. Drawing activities combine fine motor skills with verbal expression, encouraging children to describe their artwork in complete sentences to strengthen their narrative abilities.
Bilingual learning is integrated into daily interactions through flashcard games for vocabulary building and simulated dialogues using high-frequency phrases, enhancing dual-language responsiveness. These training efforts culminate in mock interviews, where children can demonstrate composure, articulate communication, and calm critical thinking—from greeting interviewers to answering questions fluidly.
Through this structured practice, children transform their experiences into poised confidence, equipping them to embrace the challenges of transitioning to primary education.
