"School and Home Partnership: Collaborative Learning Community" (2) (BV)
At Victoria (Belchers) Kindergarten, we believe in creating an environment where parents, children, and teachers can thrive together. This September, we took meaningful steps to enhance our collaboration between home and school by hosting a variety of workshops designed specifically for parents. These sessions provided an excellent opportunity for parents to engage with their teachers and gain valuable insights into their children’s learning experiences. In the Storytelling workshop, more than 200 parents from PN classes to K3 classes participated. The teacher shared some practical storytelling skills with parents, and also let parents understand the procedures for telling stories to young children in school. In our Phonics Parent Workshops, teachers shared practical tools and strategies aimed at helping parents understand the phonics curriculum. By equipping parents with these resources, we hope to empower them to better support their children’s learning journeys at home. Our goal is to create a nurturing and effective learning environment for our young children through strong home-school cooperation. We believe that when parents and teachers work together, we can foster a community that prioritizes the growth and development of every child. Thank you, Parents, for being an integral part of this journey! Together, we can make a lasting impact on our children’s educational experiences.
