VEO believes that a lively mix of play and an inquiry-based curriculum lays the foundation for lifelong learning. VEO has partnered with Creative Learning Centres to offer a wide range of exclusive after-school extracurricular activities that offer students the opportunity to explore their talents, discover their passions and develop their interests. Our extracurricular activities are designed to accommodate children’s specific learning needs at different ages and available for PN to K3 students:
These activities aim to spark learners’ creativity, boost their language acquisition skills, and foster whole-person development while learning the basics about teamwork and friendly competition. The specially designed activities emphasise an all-round advancement of our learners:
Launched in 2023, the YCL is a service-learning programme that combines learning objectives with community service. We partnered with local community organisations to provide students and parents with diverse service opportunities and real-world learning experiences. Parents and children participate in volunteer activities and contribute to the community together.
By engaging in community service projects, students boost language skills, deepen understanding of local social issues, broaden horizons, discover empathy and compassion, while experiencing the joy of giving back to society. They also build key leadership competencies, including communication, teamwork, problem-solving and decision-making.
The programme enhances our learners’ confidence and equips them with necessary skills for successful adaptation to new learning environments.
The Joint-Campus Music Programme aims to nurture students’ musical talents through choir and string practice. The programme includes the VEO Joint-Campus Choir and the VEO Junior String Seed Programme, both of which are composed of students selected from various campuses through auditions conducted by professional vocalists and musicians.
- VEO Joint-Campus Choir: Offers advanced choir training for selected students.
- VEO Junior String Seed Programme: Introduces children to the experience of being part of a string ensemble, helping them learn coordination both within the group and with others.
Selected students in the programme also have the opportunity to perform at events, such as the end-of-year concert!
A variety of captivating programmes – Little Authors, Little Architects and Little Speakers. These activities stimulate learners’ creativity and self-expression through storytelling, architecture, art, and public speaking.
Our extracurricular activities are purposefully selected to complement students’ classroom learning. Through these activities, students can hone their artistic, musical, and athletic abilities while learning the basics about teamwork and friendly competition.
