Operations Manager

We seek a highly motivated, strategic thinking professional who will lead the Operations team for Victoria Educational Organisation (VEO). Reporting to the Executive Director, the Operations Manager will work closely with the Principals, Campus Heads and administration teams to maintain, streamline and strengthen operations across all campuses.
The successful candidate will:
-Possess operations experience with a proven history of leading teams within and across departments
-Be a strategic thinker, capable of short and long term budgeting, be able to clearly communicate individual and department values and needs, and be able to motivate team and peer members to high performance levels
-Interact effectively with all stakeholders of the School, including teaching and non-teaching staff, parents, students, administration, finance and marketing teams in order to provide seamless operations across VEO kindergartens and playparks and
-Demonstrate strong negotiation, organisational, communication, problem-solving and leadership skills.

Job Responsibilities
-Provide strategic and operational leadership and be responsible for the overall planning, organizing, and execution of all Operational functions across VEO’s kindergartens and playparks
-Establish internal policies, procedures and systems in line with industry best practices to respond to stakeholders’ functional support needs
-Strengthen and review operational functions, and consolidate and review existing operational practices throughout the school
-Strengthen support services that result in an enhanced teacher/student/staff experience
-Be responsible for the Department’s annual business planning and budgeting
-Manage key suppliers including student and staff uniforms, bus companies, venue bookings, extra curricular activities, warehouse team
-Oversee campus renovations and facilities management, renewal of leases, working with contractors and suppliers. 

Job Requirements
Candidates must possess the following skills:
-Minimum 5 years’ relevant operations experience, with strong decision making ability, willingness to review and support change, and ability to lead team and work well with others
-Proven experience within the educational and/or hospitality industry is preferred, but not required
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, clearly communicate department priorities, and engage effectively with stakeholders to ensure a quality experience is achieved
-Experience managing a team of employees, budgets, and projects from beginning to completion
-Self-starter with a strong work ethic, a results-driven mentality and a positive attitude
-Ability to relate effectively to a wide range of personality types and working styles
-Ability to effectively coordinate tasks and priorities, with attention to detail
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Chinese and English.

Early Childhood Educators (full day & half day)

We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic, qualified, native English speaking Early Childhood Educators who are committed to working in a dynamic environment. Candidates must hold appropriate qualifications eg. Bachelor in Education or Post Graduate Diploma in Education or Post Graduate Certificate in Education, in order to be registered as a teacher in Hong Kong. Newly qualified teachers will also be considered.

System Support Analyst

We are seeking for a highly motivated, high calibre professional to join our Information Technology & Systems team for Victoria Educational Organisation (VEO). Reporting to the Senior IT Manager of VEO, the System Support Analyst is responsible for supporting campus related application systems, conduct daily support, user training, gather user requirements for development/enhancement, prepare Test case and perform UAT, etc.Working closely with the Central SectionTeam, Campus and Administration Teams to support the School’s digital technologies for teaching and learning needs.

The successful candidate will:
Possess relevant system/application analyst experience in providing client support, user requirements gathering, construct test cases and conduct UAT;
Be a team player and problem solver, able to work with all levels of users;
Interact effectively with all stakeholders of the School, including teaching and non-teaching staff, Finance, Administration and Marketing teams.

Job Responsibilities:
-Responsible for Campus related applications (Web and Mobile Apps), play as a super user to bridge between users and development vendors;
-Conduct daily support for operation affairs raised by campuses staffs;
-Co-ordinate with users of different areas, resolve issues and concerns raised by users;
-Participate in application development projects, gathering requirements, analysis and prepare user requirement specifications;
-Manage requirements throughout project life cycles;
-Prepare test plan and QA testing cycles;
-Ensure the enhanced systems meet requirement specifications;
-Support UAT, conduct user training, prepare user manual and project documentation;
-Monitoring deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects;
-On top of application system supports, SSA would provide daily general Desktop Helpdesk Support to users, and escalate issue to 2nd Tier Support when necessary;
-Undertake ad hoc tasks assigned (e.g. photo/video taking at school events).

Job Requirements:
Degree in Information Systems or relevant disciplines;
Fresh graduates might also be considered;
Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills;
Able to speak Cantonese, English and Putonghua.

Administrative Assistant

Job Description:
Provide administrative support including but not limited to:
-Ordering all schools’ curriculum materials and related follow up
-Arranging recruitment scheduling and bookings
-Supporting curriculum development team with in-school curriculum activities
-Actively participating in some extracurricular events
data entry
-Professional development bookings and set up
-Agenda preparations
-Translating documents
-General administrative errands 
-Guest greeting, answering telephone and email enquiries and related follow-up.
-Tertiary educated with excellent communication skills with professional phone manner and ability to communicate fluently in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua.
-English and Chinese writing and typing skills are essential.
-Proactive and cheerful team-player with a positive attitude.
-Computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint, as well as Google Platform).
-Able to multitask and work under pressure.
-Administrative experience will be an advantage.

Early Childhood Educator (Playgroup)

We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic, qualified, fluent English speaking Early Childhood Educators who are committed to working in a dynamic environment. Candidates will hold appropriate qualifications eg. Bachelor in Education or Post Graduate Diploma in Education or Post Graduate Certificate in Education, in order to be registered as a teacher in Hong Kong. Five teaching day per week on Monday to Saturday.
