The transition from kindergarten to primary school can be a cause of concern for many parents. At VEO, we believe that investing in early childhood language development helps to lay a solid foundation that prepares children for success in learning – and in life!

Communication skills are essential for social interaction, understanding, and belonging. During the kindergarten to primary school transition, children will have to cope with a change not only in the environment, but also to their social circles. However, as Mrs. Lin, mother of Harbour Heights alumni, Lin Ho Cheung and Lin Ho Kwan, said, “By teaching students English, Putonghua and Cantonese, VEO open doors for students to engage with children from many different communities. This was a critical factor in my two boys feeling confident and comfortable during their transition to elite local and private schools – St. Paul’s Co-educational College Primary School and The ISF Academy.”
